About Starting 5

Starting 5 is a free daily NBA starting lineup quiz for remembering the entire lineup, not just the superstar. This is an independent project, not affiliated with the NBA, its teams, or starting5.app.

Where answers come from

Our publishing workflow requires five distinct players, season-specific clues, a credited source and evidence notes for editorial review. Historic positions can be ambiguous, so a published answer is an editorial selection with supporting context, not a claim that only one lineup ever started. This keeps the daily NBA lineups and NBA starting five archive explainable instead of treating a search result as unquestionable fact.

Demo content is unverified test data. No live sports-data or Wikimedia importer is connected in this preview. Wikidata entity IDs and image-license fields are reserved for later integration; they are not evidence of an existing license or working API connection.

Corrections

Email [email protected] with the puzzle date, position, disputed player and a reliable source. We can withdraw a disputed puzzle while it is reviewed. We do not currently promise a response deadline.

What is available

NBA daily puzzles, progressive clues, guest play, email accounts, saved score history, a public leaderboard, spoiler-free text sharing and archive practice are available now. Streaks and multiplayer are planned for later versions. There are no paid subscriptions or advertising integrations.
